DV Cleared DevOps Engineer
Summary
Build and secure CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes clusters for defence projects using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Python, and HashiCorp Vault in a DV-cleared environment.
Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements
- We require active MOD DV Clearance.
- We require strong proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs.
- We require experience with Kubernetes cluster build and application delivery.
- We require application experience with Apache NiFi, Elastic ECK, and Artifactory.
- We require knowledge of secret management tools, particularly HashiCorp Vault.
- We require proficiency with operating systems, specifically Red Hat and Windows.
- We require a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- We require prior experience across all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to retirement.
- We require experience using a range of automation tools.
- We require familiarity with software security methods.
- We require demonstrated experience with a wide variety of coding languages.
- We require strong decision-making and collaborative skills.
- We require a customer-oriented mindset and the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
- We collaborate with coworkers to conceptualise, develop, and release software.
- We conduct quality assurance to ensure that software meets prescribed guidelines.
- We roll out fixes and upgrades to software as needed.
- We secure software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.
- We collect and review customer feedback to enhance user experience.
- We suggest workflow changes to improve efficiency and success.
- We pitch ideas for projects based on gaps in the market and technological advancements.
