Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant

We're looking for a Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery on our D365 implementations. You'll work closely with stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable solutions, while also getting hands-on with configuration, customization, and integration across the D365 suite (CE/F&O). This is a great fit for someone who enjoys wearing both hats — functional consulting and technical build.

What You’ll Do

● Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and technical design documents

● Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Finance & Operations, or relevant workstream) to meet business needs

● Design and develop integrations between D365 and third-party systems using tools such as Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or custom APIs

● Build and maintain plugins, workflows, and custom entities within the Dynamics 365 platform

● Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions balancing out-of-the-box functionality against custom development

● Support data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation

● Perform unit testing, UAT support, and troubleshoot production issues

● Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users throughout the project lifecycle

● Prepare and maintain solution documentation, including configuration guides and technical specs

Requirements

● 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics365 in a techno-functional capacity

● Strong hands-on experience with D365 CE (Customer Engagement) and/or F&O (Finance & Operations) modules

● Proficiency in Power Platform tools — Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI

● Experience with plugin development, workflows, and custom entity configuration using C#, .NET, and JavaScript

● Solid understanding of Dataverse, Common Data Service(CDS), and D365 data model

● Experience integrating D365 with external systems via APIs, Azure Service Bus, or middleware tools

● Familiarity with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD, and work item tracking

● Strong stakeholder management and communication skills— able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

● Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-200,MB-210, MB-300 series) are a plus
