Dynamics Great Plains Developer

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom applications and APIs using Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Integrate Dynamics GP with third-party systems, including a Laboratory Information Management System
  • Create new GP companies and finalize functional requirements
  • Develop and remediate integrations and support UAT testing
  • Build SSRS reports including AR Statement Invoices
  • Conduct end-to-end testing and provide go-live support
  • Deliver module training and documentation, including SOPs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for deployment

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Proven experience customizing Dynamics GP modules
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and Power BI
  • Experience integrating Dynamics GP with third-party apps via APIs/web services
  • Proficiency in Dexterity, Visual Studio Tools for GP, C#, and eConnect SDK
  • Familiarity with GP Web Services, REST/SOAP wrappers, and GP Power Tools
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
  • Clean criminal record check (required before start)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Dataverse and custom connectors
  • Experience with model-driven and canvas apps
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio debugging and SQL Profiler
  • Indigenous Business Participation (Canadian or Manitoba)
