Lead. Teach. Inspire. Transform.
Are you an experienced educator ready to step into a leadership role that balances administrative oversight with direct student impact? We are seeking a Teaching Coordinator to serve as a teacher-leader at the center of our educational programming. In addition to direct teaching duties, this on-site leadership position supports connections between educators and clinical program staff, ensuring that our strengths-based approach translates into real-world student outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Plan and provide daily instruction, modeling high-quality teaching practices for teaching staff while directly supporting student learning.
- Act as the primary educational liaison on-site, making independent, professional decisions to strengthen program effectiveness and foster a collaborative "one-team" culture between education and residential staff.
- Support staff development and coordinate onsite training to ensure every educator is equipped to succeed.
- Oversee diverse student learning tracks, including HiSET/GED prep, diploma pathways, and career/vocational exploration, and fostering programming that is culturally responsive and personalized.
- Lead the administration of state-mandated testing, manage student records, and maintain rigorous compliance with all agency policies.
- Support youth self-advocacy skills for transition and discharge meetings.
