Job Description:
The Floor Tech is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform Projects as instructed by DFS management, including but not limited to;

Carpet Extraction, Encapsulation, and spotting

Hard floor stripping, waxing, burnishing, polishing and scrubbing

Facility periodic detailing duties as assigned

Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and any damages

Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner

Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition

Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals

Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times

Perform other custodial duties as assigned
