What You'll Be Doing

As the E&M Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all Electrical & Mechanical works throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical and design issues.

  • Supervise Electrical & Mechanical works on-site, including:

    • Electrical systems

    • HVAC systems

    • Plumbing and sanitary systems

    • Fire protection systems

    • Other mechanical installations

  • Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations.

  • Plan, manage, and oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of E&M systems.

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and site teams to maintain high standards of workmanship.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and workplace safety.

  • Prepare technical submissions, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documentation.

  • Monitor project schedules, costs, and E&M budgets to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Provide practical engineering solutions for site challenges and design discrepancies.

  • Coordinate submissions and approvals with relevant authorities including LTA, BCA, SCDF, PUB, and EMA.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving engineering challenges and has experience delivering complex infrastructure projects.

You should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience.

  • At least 5 years of supervising E&M works on construction sites for large-scale transit or infrastructure projects.

  • Previous LTA project experience will be highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Electrical systems

    • HVAC

    • Plumbing

    • Fire Protection systems

  • Familiarity with Singapore authority requirements and submission procedures involving:

    • LTA

    • BCA

    • SCDF

    • PUB

    • EMA

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (BIM), and Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of project management software will be an added advantage.

  • Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
