This person will have experience conceptualizing and designing manufacturing production machinery (whole systems or parts of systems).
What You'll Do as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Create mechanical and electrical CAD designs for automation systems.
- Lead automation project teams from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new automation systems.
- Travel to customer sites as part of the sales effort and for customer support.
- Act, from time-to-time, as a mentor to less experienced engineers.
