The Position…
The position on offer is
for an Early Childhood Educator, holding either a Bachelor, Diploma or Cert 3
qualification.
Early childhood educators
play a crucial role in the development and education of young children. Their
responsibilities go beyond simply providing childcare: they focus on creating a
supportive and enriching environment that promotes learning and development.
As part of the role, you
will be required to fulfil the following duties:
- Creating a safe environment to ensure the physical and emotional safety
of children.
- Lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Classroom management to establish and maintain a positive and inclusive
classroom atmosphere.
- Individualised assessment to monitor and assess the development of each
child.
- Communication with Parents and Caregivers.
- Cultural sensitivity.
- Promoting social and emotional development.
- Health and nutrition.
- Professional development and Recordkeeping.
The Ideal Candidate...
The Ideal Candidate must
have the following:
- Whilst experience in an early childhood educational setting is
preferred, Graduates are also welcome to apply.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor, Diploma or Cert
3)
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certification
- Good written and communication abilities
- Right to work in Australia
- Understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Excellent understanding of child safety standards and commitment to
upholding the rights of the child and child protection.
- Must possess current Victorian Working with Children Check
- Mandatory Reporting certification
