Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist-Childrens OP Therapist

Role and Responsibilities

· Provide direct clinical services for clients assigned to caseload, primarily early childhood population.

· Provide consultation and emergency services.

· Program development in accordance with the annual plan and in consultation with the supervisor of the

program.

· Completion of administrative paperwork and medical records in a timely manner as required.

· Serve on after hours On-Call rotation. (2-4 required per year)

· Strong and effective oral and written communicator

· Facilitation and training with daycare providers and the community at large

· Collaboration with other agencies and professionals

· Provide consultation, assessment, and educational services to other professionals and parents of children

in the birth to five age range.

· Provide clinical services

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or another Mental Health field.

· Licensed and/or Certified by the appropriate Board in the State of Kentucky.

· Candidates who are eligible for licensure and/or certification will also be considered.

Special Requirements

· Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able travel to various

locations, including consumer homes, within or outside the region. Attendance at state & national

meetings is required. Attendance at training programs required.
