Assists with administering early-years funding by verifying payments, liaising with nurseries/schools, and managing financial data in Excel for Nottingham City Council.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £26,824 (Level one) rising to 27,694 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

About the Role

You will support the Early Years Funding Co-ordinator with the local authority’s statutory responsibility around administering the Early Years Entitlements for 9 months - 4 years . Including liaising with nurseries, schools and childminders and ensuring that payments for the entitlements are accurate and paid on time.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

· Awareness of finance and funding processes

· Knowledge of IT systems and their application

· Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of customers both internally and externally and different business levels.

· Experience of working with management information systems to manage the administration of large scale funding to multiple organisations

  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Excel

    A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
