ECommerce Development Manager
Description
Job Description
Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.
Mondelēz International empowers people to snack right in over 150 countries around the world. We're leading the future of snacking with iconic global and local brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Philadelphia, Pascall, The Natural Confectionery Company, Belvita, Ritz and Toblerone with global revenues exceeding $36 billion USD.
Make It With Pride.
Oreo. Cadbury. Toblerone. The brands are iconic and the opportunity is just as big. We're looking for a commercially sharp, digitally driven eCommerce Development Manager to accelerate our online growth across Australia's biggest retail and emerging commerce platforms.
The Role
Reporting to the DCommerce & Media Lead ANZ, you'll own the performance and optimisation of our eCommerce channels end-to-end. That means driving the flywheel - search, content, activation, assortment, availability across Coles, Woolworths, Amazon, Uber Eats, DoorDash and beyond.
This isn't a support role. You'll have genuine ownership, real P&L influence and a direct line to commercial impact. You'll partner across Sales, Category, Marketing, CX and agency teams to turn data into action and action into growth.
What You'll Do
- Own eCommerce trading performance across major retailers and Quick Commerce partners
- Lead digital shelf analytics and reporting — spot gaps, seize opportunities, drive corrective action
- Manage retail media with Cartology, Coles 360 and emerging partners — own the ROI story
- Build and execute our Amazon strategy including 1P vendor portfolio management
- Lead Quick Commerce partnerships — strategy, campaigns and incremental growth
- Optimise content with CX to lift conversion and engagement across every touchpoint
- Translate consumer, shopper and market data into sharp, actionable commercial plans
- Identify and onboard new channels (Pureplay, D2C) to expand our digital footprint
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing eCommerce team
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in FMCG/CPG commercial roles (Sales, Category, Account Management) with 2+ years in a dedicated eCommerce role
- Hands-on experience with digital shelf tools (CIQ/NIQ, Nielsen, IRI, Quantium Checkout, Homescan)
- Retail media activation experience (Cartology, Coles 360)
- Quick Commerce strategy and campaign management (Uber Eats, DoorDash)
- SEO / digital shelf search bidding (e.g. Citrus)
- Amazon 1P vendor management experience (preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen — you see where we're falling short and where the growth is
- The ability to influence cross-functionally and present insights that move people to act
