Ecommerce Manager
Our mission is to empower people to move freely and happily.
Headquartered in Singapore, Sunnystep creates footwear that combines comfort and style, celebrating the freedom and joy of movement in every step.
We’re looking for a commercially driven, hands-on eCommerce Manager to grow our online business, strengthen day-to-day operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll combine e-commerce expertise with practical AI and automation skills to build a more effective, scalable business.
About the role
You’ll own our online store’s P&L, sales targets and end-to-end customer journey. From merchandising and conversion to fulfilment and repeat purchases, you’ll identify opportunities, execute improvements and take responsibility for measurable results.
What you’ll do
- Own online revenue, profitability and customer experience, balancing sales growth with healthy margins.
- Manage product listings, merchandising, pricing and promotions, ensuring accurate information and consistent execution.
- Improve conversion rates, average order value and repeat purchases through customer insights and structured testing.
- Optimise product pages, website navigation and checkout to reduce friction throughout the shopping journey.
- Partner with the marketing team on traffic acquisition, campaigns and retention initiatives, aligning investment with commercial results.
- Coordinate with inventory, logistics and customer service teams to maintain stock accuracy, fulfil orders reliably and resolve customer issues.
- Build and implement AI-assisted workflows that reduce repetitive work and improve accuracy across catalogue management, reporting, inventory monitoring and order exceptions.
- Connect systems and data sources, with clear checks and approval requirements before automated actions affect prices, orders or customers.
- Monitor automation after launch, investigate failures and improve reliability—not just deliver an initial setup.
- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting, turning insights into prioritised actions.
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of hands-on e-commerce experience, preferably with D2C brands, including P&L ownership, conversion optimisation and online operations.
- A track record of improving revenue, profitability, operational efficiency or customer experience, supported by measurable results.
- Strong commercial judgment across product assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory and order management.
- Practical experience building or substantially implementing AI and automation workflows used in real business operations.
- Ability to work with APIs, webhooks, structured data and spreadsheets using n8n, Make, Python, JavaScript or equivalent tools. You do not need expertise in every listed tool, but should be able to explain and demonstrate what you built.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including validating source data, identifying root causes and checking whether automated outputs are correct.
- Sound judgment about when AI can assist, when a rules-based workflow is more appropriate and when human approval is required.
- Ownership of ongoing performance: testing, monitoring, documenting and improving systems after launch.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine interest in Sunnystep’s mission and products.
