ED Tech - ER Full-Time
Summary
Supports ER staff by transporting patients, taking vitals, applying splints, and handling paperwork in a fast-paced hospital night shift role.
Assists Emergency Room physicians and nurses with patient care based on individual patient needs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of duties such as patient transport, taking vitals, non-sterile dressings, EKG's and splint application. Will also assist with paperwork, faxing/filing and answering phones and greeting patients and visitors. Assists in maintaining adequate inventory supplies and equipment. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle stress adequately. BLS required within 90 days of employment.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Candidates with previous experience in emergency/trauma preferred but not required.
This position is a full-time night shift position - 7PM- 7AM.
