EDI Manager

EDI Manager Position Summary

The Manager, EDI Operations leads the EDI Operations team and is accountable for the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of day-to-day production operations. The manager sets priorities and service standards, allocates resources across the team, and directs the resolution of complex and escalated production issues. The manager also owns departmental metrics and reporting, drives process and quality improvements, and partners with internal teams and external partners to ensure EDI transactions and connectivity meet client and compliance expectations.

Why does this role matter?
EDI Operations is the team that keeps our transactions flowing day in and day out, and when it runs well, our clients and payer partners barely have to think about us. This role owns that reliability and leads the people who protect it, so the work has a direct line to the service clients experience every day.

What impact will the new hire have in their first 6 months?
In your first few months, you'll get your arms around how the team runs today: where tickets pile up, what keeps breaking, and where we're slower than we'd like to be. From there you'll set the standard, get reporting in place so performance is actually visible, and start chipping away at the problems that keep coming back. By month six, we'd love to see a team running smoothly and a couple of fixes that made everyone's job easier.

What's the growth trajectory for this position?
This is a leadership role with real room to grow. Do it well, meaning a team that runs and people who develop under you, and you'll be set up to take on more, whether that's a bigger team, new operation areas, or a step up into senior operations leadership. The systems knowledge you'll build here opens a lot of doors across operations at DXC.
