Role Overview

The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) is seeking an inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EIC) to lead Genetics in Medicine Translational Genomics (GIM TG), a new open access journal launching in 2027. The EIC will shape GIM TG from launch, defining its editorial voice, building its global editorial community, and establishing it as a high-impact, internationally recognized publication.

What You Will Do

As inaugural EIC, you will refine journal scope, recruit and mentor an international Editorial Board, oversee the peer review process, and make final publication decisions. You will also promote the journal globally, attract high-quality international submissions, and engage ACMG membership and other stakeholders.
