Objective of job

This role serves as the core technical expert for next-generation vehicle EE architecture. You will independently own the end-to-end design, engineering implementation, and mass production delivery of our brand-new Central Computing + Zone Control EEA platform and support iterative upgrades for L4 Robotaxi unmanned architecture. Different from traditional document-only architects, this position requires strong hands-on engineering capabilities to independently complete architecture definition, topology design, resource planning, cross-domain alignment, and mass production problem closure, ensuring the architecture is fully implementable, production-ready, and highly iterative.

Main tasks

1. Next-Generation EEA Top-Level Platform Design

  • Lead the overall scheme design of the new-generation vehicle EE architecture, covering hardware topology, network topology, power distribution, wiring harness, and SOA architecture;
  • Build a unified vehicle EEA platform with high scalability, high flexibility, and unmanned driving evolution capability, supporting mass-production passenger vehicles, flagship models, and L4 Robotaxi applications;
  • Deliver standardized technical outputs including EEA architecture specifications, whitepapers, topology diagrams, system requirements, interface boundary definitions, and platform design guidelines.

2. Full-Stack Hands-On Implementation & Engineering Delivery (Core Requirement)

  • Independently complete vehicle EEA topology construction, network planning, VLAN partitioning, backbone communication design, power partition strategy, and vehicle wake-up/sleep system definition;
  • Work with software architecture team for SOA layered architecture design, service boundary division, cross-domain interaction rules, and full-vehicle service catalog establishment;
  • Analyze system bottlenecks in computing power, network bandwidth, and power consumption, and propose & verify targeted optimization solutions;
  • Deeply participate in prototype debugging, vehicle integration, and technical problem troubleshooting; independently resolve complex architecture, network, and system-level issues without relying on supplier support.

3. Cross-Domain Requirement Alignment & System Integration

  • Initiate and align technical requirements with autonomous driving, cockpit, vehicle data platform, AI, OTA, chassis and powertrain teams, unifying full-vehicle standards for computing power, bandwidth, interface, upgrade, and security;
  • Define hardware deployment boundaries, ECU integration strategies, and reserved independent actuator lists, balancing technical advancement, cost control, and mass production feasibility;
  • Integrate vehicle data architecture, cybersecurity architecture, and functional safety architecture to form a closed-loop next-generation EEA technical system;

4. Platform-Based & Iterative Architecture System Construction

  • Build a configurable, tailorable, and iterative EEA platform to support full product coverage including low/high-end trims, multi-power models, and L4 unmanned vehicles with one unified architecture;
  • Establish unified full-vehicle specifications\: SOA protocol, network communication, time synchronization, power-up/sleep management, and layered OTA upgrade standards;
  • Continuously iterate architecture capabilities to enable smooth upgrade from L2 to L4 autonomous driving, vehicle-cloud data closed-loop, and embodied intelligence evolution;

5. Mass Production Delivery & Technical Governance

  • Own full-cycle technical governance of the leading vehicle project from architecture freeze, development, integration, trial production to SOP
  • Manage architecture change control, risk assessment, and cross-domain technical reviews to ensure stable mass production;
  • Precipitate platform technical assets, design specifications and engineering methodologies to support rapid reuse of subsequent vehicle programs
