A highly regarded IP practice is seeking a Patent Prosecution Attorney with at least 2 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for sophisticated technology clients. This opportunity is presented by MNF Global, a national legal search firm focused on IP, patent, and technology attorney placements.

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
  • Work directly with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel.
  • Advise clients on patent strategy and portfolio development.
  • Handle technologies related to telecommunications, AI, software, and computer systems.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across a broad national IP platform.

Compensation


  • Expected compensation range: approximately $200,000 - $260,000 depending on experience and technical background.




Requirements


  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • USPTO registration required.
  • Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of law firm patent prosecution experience.
  • Strong patent drafting and prosecution background.
  • Experience with telecom, AI, software, or related technologies preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.
