EGG VAN DRIVER - HC BATI-BATI

Job Summary**

Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of eggs from the farm to designated locations using a company-provided egg van, ensuring product quality and timely distribution.

Job Responsibilities**

* Load and unload egg products from the farm and deliver to various distribution points or customers.
* Operate and maintain the egg van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues or damage promptly.
* Ensure the proper handling and storage of eggs to maintain quality and prevent damage during transit.
* Verify quantities and types of eggs being transported against delivery manifests.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery.
* Communicate effectively with farm staff, dispatch, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
* Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations relevant to egg transportation.
* Assist with basic cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle as required.

Job Qualifications**

* Valid Class B (HC) driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience in transporting fragile goods.
* Knowledge of local routes in the Bati-Bati area and surrounding regions.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (e.g., egg crates) repeatedly throughout the day.
* Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
