EHS Coordinator

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs within a manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. This position promotes a proactive safety culture, assists with regulatory compliance activities, conducts safety training, investigates incidents, and partners with operational teams to reduce workplace risks and environmental impacts.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field required.
- 1-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment preferred.
- Experience with OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety programs required.
- Environmental compliance experience preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state regulations.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety principles and risk assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to influence employees and management at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
