About the Role:

The EHS Coordinator supports the EHS Manager and assigned facilities in meeting safety and environmental goals, including OSHA compliance, safety recordkeeping, and training programs. This role covers multiple facilities, requires significant travel (75%+, about half day trips), and calls for independence, adaptability, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide OSHA compliance guidance on processes, equipment, supplies, and environmental matters, and recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous conditions.
  • Lead learning teams for near-misses and post-incident investigations.
  • Conduct industrial hygiene evaluations and EHS assessments of new equipment, chemicals, procedures, and process changes, including LOTA, JSA, and related work instructions.
  • Review and update Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) as needed.
  • Organize the maintain safety records, including annual OSHA, EPA, and DOT training logs.
  • Conduct regular EHS facility inspections, including safety and housekeeping audits.
  • Assist with hazardous, special, and universal waste management, and monitor environmental improvement programs.
  • Develop and coordinate safety training programs, and co-lead facility safety teams and committees.
  • Analyze and report EHS key performance indicators to the EHS Manager.
  • Conduct ergonomic analysis of workstations, tasks, and processes.
  • Support the EHS Manager on research and special projects as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a role where safety was the primary responsibility.
  • A willingness to learn and to help build a psychologically safe work environment.
