EHS Engineer – Data Centre Operations

Ensure compliance with Malaysia EHS regulations, customer requirements and industry standards.

Conduct EHS inspections, audits and risk assessments across site operations.

Monitor EHS compliance of employees and contractors.

Develop and implement SOPs, EOPs, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Investigate incidents, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.

Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures and operational guidelines.

Work closely with operations, engineering teams, contractors and relevant authorities.

Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across Data Centre operations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.

5-8 years of EHS experience, preferably in Data Centre, manufacturing, industrial or critical facilities environments.

Registered/Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in Malaysia – mandatory.

Strong knowledge of Malaysia EHS regulations, safety and environmental compliance.

Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 implementation and compliance.

Hands-on experience in risk assessment, safety inspections, audits and incident investigation.

Familiar with SOP, EOP, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and contractor safety management.

Good communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced, 24/7 Data Centre environment.

Willing to be based in Ulu Tiram, Johor.
