Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as the main point of contact for all EHS matters, providing guidance to management and operational teams.
  • Promote a positive EHS culture through training, engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor EHS performance, KPIs and compliance reporting.
  • Lead internal and external audits, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Identify opportunities to improve environmental and safety performance across the site.

Required skills and experience of the EHS Lead:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science or Engineering.
  • 3–5 years' experience in an EHS role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation and EPA IE / IPC licence requirements.
  • Understanding of COMAH / Seveso III regulations and major accident hazard management.
  • Experience with environmental compliance, internal audits and ISO management systems.
  • Knowledge of ATEX regulations and flammable/explosive atmospheres.
  • A recognised Risk Assessment qualification.
  • Strong communication, organisational and reporting skills.
  • The ability to engage with all levels of the business and drive continuous improvement.

What's on offer:

  • An opportunity to take ownership of EHS within a leading industrial organisation.
  • A varied role covering environmental compliance, health and safety and COMAH requirements.
  • The opportunity to influence EHS strategy and drive improvements across the business.
  • Direct exposure to senior management and multidisciplinary teams.
  • A key position where you can make a real impact on environmental and safety performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious EHS professional with strong environmental compliance experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and take ownership of a key EHS function.
