EHS Manager (f/m/x)
TASKS WITH IMPACT
The Corporate EHS team makes sure that, at DOUGLAS, all legal requirements for occupational safety, health protection, and sustainability are not only met but actively lived and continuously developed. For our locations across the DACH region, we're looking for a dedicated person to help shape the vision of a safe and health-promoting working environment – and roll it out on the ground.
- You ensure that legal occupational safety requirements are met across the DACH region
- You support risk assessments and occupational health inspections, and translate them into concrete actions
- You are the central point of contact for employers' liability insurance associations (Berufsgenossenschaften) and other authorities on all matters of occupational safety and health
- You consistently follow up on open actions after inspections and coordinate their implementationYou partner closely with Labour Relations and provide reporting on key occupational safety initiatives
- You design and deliver regular trainings and seminars on EHS topics
- You work closely with sales managers and the Labour Relations team to manage occupational health and safety topics
- You report to internal stakeholders to track measures in the area of occupational health and safety

Alongside these competencies, we're especially interested in the following skills:
- You have completed training as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) or hold a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience in EHS – preferably in a retail setting or an international company
- You have experience working with regulatory authorities and employers' liability insurance associations
- You stand out for your structured, solution-oriented way of working and proactively reach out to stakeholders
- You are willing to travel regularly within the DACH region (approx. 30–40%) – a company car is provided
- You communicate confidently in German and English
