EHS Officer

We are seeking a dedicated EHS Officer to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to managing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among employees. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain the Environmental Occupational Health Safety Management System to ensure compliance with local and national regulations. - Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant maintenance and operational processes to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. - Collaborate with various departments to promote safety awareness and provide training on safety practices and emergency procedures. - Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in safety standards. - Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting of incidents and compliance documentation. - Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational health safety regulations. - Experience in plant maintenance and mechanical maintenance practices. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. - Proficiency in conducting safety audits and risk assessments. - Familiarity with EHS management software and reporting tools.
