EI Educator Aide (EIPIC Wellington Circle)
Summary
Assist teachers in planning and delivering early childhood education lessons for children aged 0-6 with developmental or special needs, using English as the medium of instruction.
Fei Yue Community Services had been appointed by The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) to run the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC). Our EIPIC programme is specially designed to serve children from birth to 6 years old who are assessed to be at risk of developmental, intellectual, sensory or physical learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in lesson planning, classroom preparation and teaching in classes
- Assist teachers in conducting assessments, implementing strategies, monitoring progress and evaluating goals for students
- Assist teachers in implementing effective classroom management strategies
- Collaborate and partner parents / caregivers in each student’s learning journey
Requirement:
- Minimum NITEC, 3 GCE ‘O’ Level passes (including English language) or equivalent qualification for Early Childhood Educarer
- Experienced in working with young children using English as a medium of instruction
- Strong interest and commitment in working with children with developmental / special needs (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, etc)
- 6 months Contract basis
