ELECTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

You will serve as a ELECTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Planning Division (270), Office of the Chief Engineer (Code 240), Engineering and Planning Department (Code 200), of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
You order the material using the shipyard material procurement system.
You will provide technical assistance for and prepare procedures for conducting tests on various electrical equipment and systems.
You will provide technical assistance in performing analysis and calculations associated with project designs.
You will provide all electrical drawings/instructions, special equipment and modifications to install a specific system in a specified space.
