Summary

Supervises electrical and fire alarm system installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities on site, while leading technicians and coordinating with contractors and clients. Requires strong knowledge of electrical wiring, fire alarm systems, and ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical and Fire System Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will perform electrical installation and fire alarm installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and fire alarm system faults efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, fire safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Lead and supervise technicians and maincontractor, subcontractors on site.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and monitor project progress.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
  • Prepare service reports, inspection reports, maintenance records, and work completion documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project managers regarding site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and risk assessments.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls when required.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electrical installation and fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with fire alarm systems from major manufacturers is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, schematic diagrams, and fire alarm layouts.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid electrical license or relevant certifications (preferred).
  • Possess a valid driving licence (preferred).
