Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer
Summary
Designs and supervises electrical and instrumentation systems for process plants, ensuring compliance, calibration, and timely project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Involve in conceptual and detailed design of Electrical and Instrumentation in project
- Able to read and interpret Electrical & Instrumentation drawings and technical specifications
- Assist the Manager in handling and monitoring progress of E & I Works.
- Familiar with the calibration and testing of instruments/equipment in process plant
- Supervise a group of subcontractors and ensure that works are executed within and acceptable standard of workmanship
- Prepare site progress report and necessary project documentation that may include method statement
- Ensure timely hand – over (delivery) of project while maintaining high quality standard of optimum cost (Cost effectiveness)
- Ensure that the relevant installation drawings are accessible at the point of use
- Review the nature of non-conformities detected in product/work and determine the disposition of the non-conformities
- Prepare and submit report to Site Manager on work progress status regularly
- Resolve technical issues relating to installation, commissioning and testing of instrument and equipment
Requirements:
- At least of 3 years relevant experience in electrical & instrumentation field for Process Plant.
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Experience with intrinsically safe electrical wiring
