Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical projects using Autodesk Revit.
- Interpret redlines, sketches, and engineering drawings to produce 3D models and associated 2D installation drawings.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP, civil) to ensure model accuracy and resolve design or constructability conflicts.
- Perform clash detection and model reviews.
- Assist in the development of construction documents, prefab shop drawings, and as-built models.
- Develop Trimble point layout drawings

Experience and Education
- Degree in Building Information Modeling, Computer Graphics Design, Drafting, Engineering/Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficient with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revue. EVOLVE MEP experience a plus.
- Understanding of Trimble RTS units and the information needed to execute point layouts in the field. Additional Trimble experience a plus.
- Electrical/General Construction Experience
Physical Requirements
Light physical activity performing generally non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative and production/technical nature.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
- Sit at a computer for extended periods
- Walk and stand for extended periods
- Talk and listen with employees
Walk up and down stairs
Work Environment
Approximately 90% office work and 10% at installation site, as project needs require.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however, high noise levels may be experienced at construction sites
