Electrical BIM Modeler
We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D BIM models specifically for electrical systems, ensuring coordination with other disciplines and adherence to project requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and low current systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure clash-free models and seamless integration.
- Perform clash detection and resolve issues proactively using software such as Navisworks.
- Update BIM models to reflect design changes and site conditions promptly.
- Assist in generating construction documents and drawings from the BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to support BIM execution plans and project schedules.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler or similar role within construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM modeling and coordination.
- Experience with electrical systems modeling including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
- Good understanding of UAE authority regulations and BIM standards.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
