Electrical Controls Engineer
Automation Services and Controls, a division of The Hannon Company, is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer with 3-5 years experience in the following:
Job Scope:
- Engineer and design electrical automation control systems.
- Develop PLC and drive programs.
- Design HMI/SCADA interface screens.
- Develop electrical drawings.
- Participate in the development, design and servicing of motor controls and industrial electronic control systems.
- Perform system startups and operational checkouts on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding and power testing.
- Field service work: analyze engineering problems, find solutions and repair, and provide recommendations for improved performance.
- Manage and prioritize project schedules.
Required Skills:
- Advance troubleshooting of PLC’s, Servo’s, and Machine control systems.
- Understanding of Servo, VFD, and DC drives and motor theory.
- Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting.
- High attention to details with problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- BSEE/BSET degree or equivalent experience.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without ASC (The Hannon Company) sponsorship.
