Electrical & Controls Engineer

Our client, a global engineering and technology company, isexpanding its Data Centre engineering team in Singapore and is seeking anexperienced Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to support thedesign and development of modular data centre infrastructure solutions acrossAsia.

Location: Singapore West
Employment: Contract (1 year renewable/convertible)
Industry: Data Centre / Modular Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

  • Design industrial electrical systems, power distribution systems and control panel architectures.
  • Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and cable schedules.
  • Support PLC programming, HMI development and industrial communication networks.
  • Support integration with BMS and customer control platforms.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant international electrical codes and standards.
  • Support manufacturing, FAT, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Project Engineering, suppliers and customers.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing partners and project sites across Asia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in electrical engineering, industrial controls or automation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and industrial control panel design.
  • Good understanding of PLC-based automation systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, P&IDs, control drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in manufacturing, commissioning or industrial equipment environments.

Travel: Up to 40% within Asia.
