Electrical / Electronics Engineer
Summary
An electrical/electronics engineer who designs electronics architecture, circuits, and systems for next-generation products—spanning embedded microprocessor design, power electronics (DC-DC/AC-DC), analog sensing, and medical device design—coordinating prototypes and working with manufacturing and suppliers through the product cycle.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORIZATION LEVEL
- Innovative and Create value for Next Generation of advance complex system
- Develop and design electronics architecture, circuits and systems for meeting future products specifications
- Brainstorm and Contribute Out of Box solution to create value to business and customers
- Conduct system analysis to achieve optimized design solution to meet design specification, project schedule and cost target
- Ensure design meet all regulatory requirements
- Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customer
- Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance to specifications
- Author of specifications, requirements and validation plans for design module assigned
- Work with the Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment
- Development and design opportunities in one or more of the following areas:Embedded micro-processor system designMedical product designIO standards and protocol such as USB, IR, LAN, Blue tooth, etcPower electronics – DC-DC, AC-DC converter, etcAnalog – sensing technologies, signal conditioning, etc
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Experience in embedded microprocessor system design, power management electronics and small signal analog design
- Experience in product development preferred
OTHER JOB-RELATED SKILLS
- Knowledge in PC architecture, High Speed IO Bus protocols (such as DDR, FSB, PCI-X), signal integrity techniques and high speed hardware design
- Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and EMC advantageous
- Strong knowledge of electronics fundamental and principles
- Good team player with strong passion for product design
- Experience in medical product compliance standard such as ISO13485, is an added advantage
- Simulation tools & programming skills (eg. PSpice, Python) is added advantage
- Overseas travel may be required
