About the Role
Aldelia Nigeria is seeking an Electrical & Electronics Engineer to ensure high personnel and equipment/facilities availability through audits, inspections, and certifications management — enhancing performance, reducing unplanned breakdowns, maximizing equipment lifespan, and ensuring safe operating conditions to support efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor electrical/electromechanical maintenance works (corrective and preventive)
- Ensure PPM schedules are respected and anomalies closed out
- Manage equipment including lifts, UPS, fire pumps, smoke detection, fire alarm, sprinkler, and fire suppression systems
- Execute and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Monitor system health and performance to prevent failures and downtime
- Maintain complete maintenance documentation and asset history records
- Support emergency response during utility failures
- Supervise Facility Management Companies and technical personnel; ensure contractor compliance with HSE and SLA standards
- Assist in preparing and managing the Technical Facilities Management budget
- Analyze quotes, review Work Orders, and provide technical approval on invoices
- Prepare Call for Tender documents; evaluate contractor bids
- Ensure work requests are completed within SLA; conduct facility inspections
- Support ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2015 certification maintenance
- Attend HSE Committee meetings and support the Permit to Work (PTW) process
Requirements
- HND or University Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering
- Trained or certified Auditor
- Minimum of 8–12 years' post-NYSC professional work experience
- Experience in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, oil & gas installations, airports, hotels, hospitals, or large infrastructure environments
- Experience managing critical power systems and building infrastructure
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, HSEQ principles (oil & gas industry advantage)
- Experience with SAP PM or other CMMS platforms, Building Management Systems, MS Office, SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate, and Power Apps is an advantage
