Electrical Engineer
About the Role
BYD THAILAND is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support electrical equipment, automation systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement activities within our manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Analyze and resolve electrical and robot faults on production lines.
Optimize and debug PLC programs to improve equipment performance.
Handle spare parts requisition and acceptance for electrical equipment within the responsible area.
Guide and supervise maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
Monitor and control maintenance performance indicators.
Follow up on equipment modification and new project implementation.
Prepare and maintain equipment operation and maintenance documentation.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure stable and efficient equipment operation.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Solid knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals.
Understanding of industrial automation and control principles.
Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and hardware.
Experience with electrical system design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and PLC debugging.
Proficient in computer operations and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
