ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research on local construction methodologies, industry practices, technical requirements, and relevant regulations to support product development.
  2. Develop new products and systems based on market needs, including conducting feasibility studies and preparing technical proposals.
  3. Analyze market demand and forecast product requirements by studying upcoming construction projects and industry trends.
  4. Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including product drawings, method statements, test reports, technical specifications, and quality-related documents.
  5. Ensure products comply with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management procedures, including handling Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and other QA/QC activities.
  6. Conduct product sample evaluations, comparison analysis, and maintain product performance records.
  7. Develop and deliver product knowledge training, technical materials, and presentations for internal stakeholders, including the Sales and Procurement teams.
  8. Provide technical support to internal departments and customers by responding to technical enquiries and conducting product or system presentations when required.
  9. Prepare monthly technical reports and assist in developing and maintaining technical policies, procedures, and standard documentation.
  10. Keep the company informed of the latest construction industry developments, technical standards, and market trends.
  11. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the HOD.


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years of site experience
  • Experience in LV, MV and HV electrical, preferably in a construction environment
  • Prior experience in project management
  • Team player, flexible and readily adaptable to changing conditions and demands
  • Self-motivated.
