Electrical Engineer / Inspector
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer / Inspector to join our dynamic engineering consultancy team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications, providing technical expertise and support to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. - Prepare detailed inspection reports highlighting findings, irregularities, and recommendations for improvement. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve electrical engineering issues and ensure smooth project execution. - Review electrical design documents and drawings to validate specifications and identify potential discrepancies. - Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote best practices within all electrical engineering activities. - Support the implementation of quality control procedures related to electrical systems and components. - Keep updated with latest developments in electrical engineering standards, codes, and technologies. - Participate in site visits and audits to monitor progress and compliance throughout project phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Proven 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer and/or Inspector within engineering consultancy or a similar environment. - Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical documents. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment, as well as quality assurance methodologies. - Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage. - Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh and to comply with local employment regulations and cultural practices.
