Electrical Engineer - Modular Data Center Solutions

Posted Updated
Discussion

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Presales Engineering team and help develop modular data center solutions for international projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You will have the opportunity to work on complete engineering solutions, combining electrical power systems, cooling technologies, mechanical design, automation and other disciplines into fully integrated modular data centers.

You don't need to know everything when you join. What matters most is your engineering mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn.

What will you be working on?

  • Design real engineering solutions: Develop technical concepts for modular data centers, from initial customer requirements to complete system configurations.
  • Design electrical power systems: Develop concepts for LV power distribution in data centers, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, DC systems, generators and auxiliary systems. Work on electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams and designs in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Work across different engineering disciplines: Alongside electrical engineering, you'll get involved with cooling and HVAC systems, mechanical design, automation, monitoring and control systems, fire protection, and other technologies used in data centers. You'll learn how different systems are designed and integrated, and how to solve practical engineering challenges that come with each project.
  • Turn ideas into designs: Create and adapt technical layouts and 3D models of modular data center, select equipment, perform engineering calculations, and prepare technical and commercial documentation.
  • Take part in international projects: Collaborate with engineering teams, technology suppliers, and colleagues across the EMEA region.
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a final-year student approaching graduation.
  • Motivation to learn, explore different engineering disciplines, and take on new challenges.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Excel, or electrical design tools is an advantage.

Previous experience in data centers is not required. Whether you are a recent graduate looking for your first engineering role or already have a few years of experience, we would like to hear from you.

Opportunities to travel: Collaborate on projects across the EMEA region, with the possibility of occasional short business trips for those interested.

A challenging field of activity in a very motivated team, an international business environment and a customer focused company are waiting for you with lots of space for new ideas and to discover new paths! Use this opportunity and show us your motivation.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
