Electrical Engineer (QA/QC) | $3000-$4500 | AMK #5252

Job Descriptions:

• Report directly to the QA Engineer (Product/Project) and assist in all QA/QC activities

• Maintain and implement the project quality program to achieve quality objectives and compliance requirements

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections for production and site works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and applicable standards

• Verify material identification, traceability, and preservation throughout production and installation stages

• Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality, alignment, positioning, and workmanship comply with approved method statements and safety requirements

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, risk assessments, and authority requirements

• Coordinate inspections with subcontractors, supervisors, and project teams, and verify the closure of punch list item

• Support and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated System Testing (IST), and commissioning activities, ensuring approved procedures, proper documentation, and calibrated test instruments are use

• Identify quality defects, ensure timely rectification, and verify successful re-testing

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, test records, and QA/QC documentation for traceability and audit readiness

• Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented

• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality issues where required

• Liaise with engineers, vendors, subcontractors, client representatives, and relevant authorities during inspections, audits, and compliance checks

Job Requirements:

• Diploma, ITE, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• Minimum 2–5 years of QA/QC inspection experience in: Manufacturing or production environments; or Construction or engineering installation projects.

• Experience in system testing and commissioning is an added advantage

• Strong understanding of: Inspection methods and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Engineering drawings and technical specifications, QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and audit requirements, Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management and corrective/preventive action processes, ISO 9001 Quality Management System and audit readiness

• Relevant QA/QC certifications are preferred, such as: IPC-A-610 (CIS) – Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, IPC J-STD-001 (CIS) – Soldering Standard, ESD Control Certification or Other relevant quality inspection certifications
