Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist to lead a team of technical personnel within company.
- Manage and assist to monitor all company’s electrical equipment/accessories.
- Develop and review electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, and cable schedules.
- Coordinate electrical design, installation, and interface requirements with PE/LEW, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Supervise and monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Plan, coordinate electrical testing and commissioning activities for power distribution systems, control panels, and field equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation including method statements, testing procedures, risk assessments, and commissioning reports.
- Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with Sales/Ops team on Tenders’ Requirements.
- Coordinate with Ops team on site electrical works/requirements/planning.
- Keen mind on quality management, with good documentation, continuous improvement of processes & operational planning to ensure good continuous supply of equipment for customers and internal requirement
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant course
- Candidate with a minimum 2 years of related working experience in Electrical maintenance/engineering works will be constructive
- Fresh graduate will be considered as well.
- Willing to learn and possess high level of initiative and integrity
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour
- Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure and timeline
- Possess strong leadership quality, good planning and organizing ability
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills verbally and handwritten
- Ability to review and amend schematic drawings & circuit drawings
- Experience and knowledge in Generators will be useful
- On-site visits/meeting/coordination and etc will be needed
- Proficient in cable sizing calculations, load calculations, and voltage drop analysis will be helpful
- Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software tools is beneficial
