Electrical Engineer/Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Technician with expertise in panel building and quantity surveying to join their team in Djibouti, Africa. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both technical assembly and the management of project costs and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test electrical panels in line with project specifications.
• Conduct quantity surveying to accurately estimate project costs and manage budgets.
• Supervise on-site activities, ensuring that work is completed according to quality standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
• Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• TS degree or Bachelors degree in Electricity or related field with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying and panel building is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, panel design, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
