Electrical Engineering Technician
Summary
On-site technician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems at construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specs.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at construction sites.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance works.
- Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore safety regulations and project requirements.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
- Support site operations and attend to emergency breakdowns when required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / ITE / Technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Preferably with experience in construction, M&E, or building services industry.
- Familiar with electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and troubleshooting.
- Able to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work on-site.
