Amteck is a TOP 50 EC&M electrical contractor with headquarters in Lexington, KY. We are currently hiring for our prefabrication department. Prefab supports our construction sites by constructing various electrical assemblies. After gaining experience in prefab, you will have the opportunity to transition into different roles such as electrician, fire alarm technician, or low voltage technician. You will be eligible to enroll in our accredited apprenticeship program which offers pay increases every six months, and will give you the opportunity to learn the National Electric Code to prepare for a state journeyman license exam. Many of our graduating apprentices are later promoted to estimators, procurement associates, foreman, and superintendents.

What we are looking for:

• Experience with basic hand and power tools
• Familiarity with reading tape measures
• Basic welding experience preferred but not required
