Electrical Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at a petrochemicals manufacturing plant in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with hands-on experience in low voltage (LV) panels, motor control centers (MCCs), and industrial instrumentation. This role involves designing, installing, testing, and commissioning various electrical systems, including MDBs, SMDBs, and control panels. Key responsibilities include performing load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage-drop calculations, as well as preparing and maintaining single line diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, and as-built drawings. The engineer will supervise the installation of new machinery, manage preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Additionally, the role requires the installation and calibration of various instrumentation devices, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature transmitters. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance and calibration records. A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant industrial experience.
