Summary
Assembles and installs electrical control panels, instruments, and sensing devices in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Job Description:
· Assemble, mount, and install control panels, instruments, and sensing devices.
· Plan layout and installation according to manufacturer instructions and specifications.
· Assemble and install instrument stands, brackets, trays, clamps.
· Prepare and record installation documents.
· Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and instrumentation.
· Identify all tools required for tasks and identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate risks.
· Knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools.
· Proficient in measuring and calculating.
Job Requirements:
· Must have 15 - 16 yrs. experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, cable pulling, grounding and termination.
· Requires skill in the use of technicians' tools such as electric meters, calibration devices, electronic testers, etc.
· Knowledge in the field of instrumentation area within the construction platforms
· Knowledge of construction procedures and standards in the instrumentation area
· Be able to complete assigned jobs with minimum supervision.
