About the role
Veolia Servicios Lecam, in its energy services division, needs to hire an Electrician Maintenance Technician for La Isla Gran Canaria.
What you'll do
Perform ordinary and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, normal lighting, and emergency lighting.
Execute quick electrical repairs (replacement of switches, power outlets).
Disassemble and assemble faulty electrical equipment (motors, actuators, luminaires).
Lay new conductors and install conduits and cable trays.
Maintain specialized public address systems, batteries, chargers, and UPS systems.
Perform auxiliary work on electrical panels and associated locksmithing or painting tasks.
Check grounding connections and safe voltage systems to guarantee electrical safety.
Inspect and diagnose faults in electrical installations to determine maintenance solutions.
What we're looking for
2-3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and electrical equipment repair.
Knowledge of electrical safety regulations (RBT, NTP), ability to work in a team, and availability for shifts and travel.
Nice to have
Valuable training: Intermediate Vocational Training in Electricity and Electronics or a Professional Certificate in low-voltage electrical installations.
