Electrical Quality Supervisor (EICR's)

40k - 50k OTE / OFFICE-BASED ROLE / NO WEEKENDS

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Quality Supervisor to join our team in a fully office-based role, carrying out desktop technical reviews of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).

This is an ideal opportunity for an electrician or electrical professional with previous EICR experience, particularly within the housing sector, who is looking to come off the road and move into an office-based position.

Working within an established team, you'll review EICRs to ensure inspections, testing and remedial works completed by our field engineers meet the required standards, providing feedback to the Senior QS and field teams where needed.

We're looking for someone who is highly computer literate, forward-thinking and keen to embrace technology, including AI tools, to improve efficiency and help achieve daily certificate review targets.

Desktop EICR Review

• Technically review EICRs from a desktop perspective only, checking certificates, test results, and related documentation.

• Confirm that testing and remedial works carried out by field electricians have been completed to the required standard.

• Identify issues or gaps in the EICR documentation and raise them for correction through the existing process.

• Maintain accurate records of reviews completed.

Feedback & Quality

• Provide clear and timely feedback to the Senior QS and electricians in the field to maintain and improve quality.

• Work within the existing team structure and processes already in place.

Performance & Systems

• Meet daily targets based on the number of certificates completed/reviewed, using all available tools and systems.

• Use computer systems and AI tools efficiently to support accurate and timely desktop review of EICRs.

• Support NICEIC audits as required (this is the only audit involvement for the role).

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

• Electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

• City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations

• Practical experience with EICRs, electrical testing, and certification.

• Strong computer literacy — confident and efficient with relevant software and digital systems.

• Willingness and ability to work with AI tools to assist with the role.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Clear communication skills for providing effective feedback.

• Ability to work independently within an established team and meet daily certificate targets.

Desirable:

• Previous experience reviewing or auditing EICRs.

• Familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
