Electrical Service Technician (EV Charging & Energy Storage Systems)

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain EV Charging Systems and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) at commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

  • Conduct pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning of EV chargers and energy storage systems.

  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in EV chargers, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), electrical panels, and associated equipment.

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and optimum performance.

  • Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns.

  • Assist engineers in site surveys, testing, commissioning, and project implementation.

  • Support firmware upgrades and configuration of EV charging equipment where required.

  • Prepare service reports and maintenance records.

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or commissioning.

  • Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for the Electrical Engineer position.

  • Sound knowledge of electrical wiring and cable installation, and able to read electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Proficient in using electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and insulation resistance testers.

  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Willing to travel to various company-managed sites across Singapore.

  • Class 3 driving licence preferred.

  • Possession of one's own transport is an added advantage

  • Working at Heights (WAH) certification is an added advantage.
