Do you want to help deliver the next generation of critical infrastructure? Eltel is now looking for a driven and enthusiastic Electrical Solutions Engineer to join our growing Data Center team.

In this role, you will support our Data Center team developing and evaluating electrical solutions for large-scale data center projects. Rather than focusing solely on design or reviewing the existing, you will help ensure that proposed solutions are technically robust, commercially competitive, and ready for successful execution. You will provide technical input for bids and supplier evaluations while ensuring that solutions reflect Finnish industry practices, utility requirements, and proven construction methods. Your involvement will not end at contract award; you will continue to support project teams throughout delivery, helping to evaluate design changes, resolve technical challenges during construction and commissioning, and ensure that all agreed modifications are accurately reflected in the final project documentation and handover package. You will work closely with solutions sales, suppliers, and site teams, helping bridge the gap between engineering and construction.

• Review electrical designs: Review electrical designs, models, and drawings from a contractor's perspective.
• Assess layouts & feasibility: Assess equipment layouts, cable routing, and installation feasibility.
• Discipline coordination: Support the coordination of electrical, mechanical, automation, and structural disciplines.
• Technical calculations: Review electrical load calculations, cable sizing, equipment selections, and protection concepts.
• Material Take-Offs: Prepare equipment and material take-offs, including cable quantities.
• Tendering & Procurement support: Support technical tendering, procurement, and supplier evaluation activities.
• Supplier documentation: Review supplier documentation and coordinate technical clarifications.
• Technical issue resolution: Assist project teams in resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Documentation update: Help ensure that design changes are correctly implemented in project documentation.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a technically strong, energetic, and solution-oriented procurement professional who loves velocity, excels in dynamic, fast-moving projects, and wants to grow within a leading infrastructure company.

We expect you to have:

• Degree: B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Industry understanding: Good understanding of electrical distribution systems and infrastructure projects.
• Evaluation skills: Ability to review and evaluate technical solutions and documentation.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Language skills: Fluency in Finnish is required; English language skills are considered an asset.
