Electrical Specialist Designer

Summary

Designs electrical systems for large/medium data centers in Indonesia, including schematics, compliance checks, and equipment procurement. Focuses on high/low-voltage systems, core power supply, and construction oversight.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall electrical design of large and medium-sized data center projects in the Indonesia region; independently prepare electrical design task descriptions and deliver comprehensive, compliant electrical system design solutions.

• Independently or in collaboration with domestic and international design institutes, complete the planning of electrical system schemes and the design of construction drawings; be responsible for preparing and reviewing equipment lists and quantity takeoffs.

• Conduct in-depth optimization of electrical construction drawings and prepare specifications for high- and low-voltage electrical systems, core equipment for power supply and distribution, and associated materials.

• Accurately compile lists of electrical equipment and consumables, submit procurement requests, and collaborate with the procurement team to conduct technical benchmarking and confirm equipment selection, ensuring that the equipment meets project requirements.

• Responsible for providing construction technical briefings for the electrical specialty, reviewing engineering changes, coordinating the evaluation of electrical construction processes, conducting on-site quality supervision, and ensuring compliance with project electrical construction regulations and quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above through the national unified enrollment system, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Automation, Building Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 3–5 years of work experience in electrical design.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in electrical scheme design and detailed drawing implementation for medium- to large-scale data centers.

• Proficient in data center power supply and distribution system design specifications, construction standards, and acceptance criteria, and familiar with industry compliance requirements.

• Well-versed in the brands and product characteristics of mainstream data center power distribution systems both domestically and internationally, with an in-depth understanding of the selection, parameter matching, and solution adaptation for core electrical equipment such as switchgear cabinets, UPS systems, and batteries.

• Proficient in using professional drawing software such as CAD; meticulous and responsible in work; possesses strong communication and coordination skills as well as a sense of teamwork.
